We are a team who believe that every helping hand can empower lives, one hygiene kit at a time.
We at the Chimbo Helping Hands group are actively ensuring that hygiene kits along with other necessary resources are being provided to community members across NYC.
We aim to ensure we promote positive impacts on the community while building individuals’ confidence and promoting infection control protocols. Hygiene kits such as soap, sanitary pads, tooth brushes, deodorants, among many others are affordable to some while to others the choice between grocery and hygiene kits is a daily decision however the leadership team of CHIMBO Helping Hands aims to provide channels of resources to provide these kits which will not only reduce avoidable infections but also promote positive self-esteem and dignity for many. With the support of donors and volunteers our collective goals can be met.

We want to build a world where people do not have to choose between grocery and tampons and world where young girls do not have to stay home due to not being able to attend school due to not being able to afford period products. We want a world where accesses to resources are provided to those in need.

Our numbers that speak
Chimbo Helping Hands believes in transparency and will provide annual financial statements providing details pertaining to administrative costs and funding to be made available to the public. We believe that engaging in this practice will help our donors feel secure that each of their donation is being used towards helping community members and promote Chimbo Helping Hands as a trustworthy organization focusing on promoting positive impact on the world.
